1-Day Comprehensive Childbirth preparation Class

This one-day class covers the stages and phases of labor with comprehensive coping mechanisms, pressure points, and massage techniques for managing labor. This class also helps ease feelings of anxiousness leading up to labor by offering relaxation methods as well as tactics for breathing through labor. We discuss how to manage the unknowns of early labor as well. We will cover comfort measures, different positions to use during labor and the different possible medical interventions used. We also discuss life with the new baby, what, your recovery will look like, and what common procedures are done with your newborn. A great stand-alone or add-on to any other class series. This class runs 5-6 hours. We encourage and welcome partners to come or invite you to bring a support person of your choosing to the class.

Bringing Home Baby - Infant Care

Adjusting to new life with a baby can be difficult. New routines and patterns can be a tough adjustment. We will help you navigate theses challenges as well as address any concerns you may have about what to look for when first bringing baby home, feeding, swaddling, putting parenting strategies into place, introduction to pets at home, family dynamics, and more.

Group Breastfeeding Class

This wonderful group class discusses feeding routines and patterns to set you up for success. We can help you pick a breast pump, help you size your flanges, help you set up breastfeeding supplies, help you with breastfeeding training and positions and coach you on solutions to problems you could face. This class is helpful before baby is born. Private lactation sessions are also available after the baby arrives. Cost: $200

Spinning Babies® Birth Preparation

Spinning Babies® Birth Preparation Class highlights your baby’s active role in birth. Baby’s job in labor is to rotate!

During labor the baby needs to pass through the three levels of the pelvis. Learn techniques to help your pelvis and its muscles that support and/or restrict your pelvic levels. Together, you and your birth partner can use these techniques before and during labor to help “make room for baby!” Spinning Babies® reveals how the baby can find optimal positions for labor, and make birth less painful, for a positive birth experience.

This class is taught as a private workshop to help you prepare your body for labor or to help reposition a baby that might be in a breech presentation. Beth does these workshops on demand as her schedule allows.
